Feature & Follow #2

Follow & Feature is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee & Alison Can Read.

The rules are simple enough:
  1. Follow the hosts (check – check)
  2. Follow the Featured Blog (check)
  3. Link back in a feature and follow post of your own
  4. Sign up on the linky linky thing. Visit a few blogs. Follow a couple of other ones – be sure to let them know you did!
  5. Answer the question posted on the host site
  6. Always remember to follow back if someone followed you. Don’t be rude now!

This weeks Question:

Q: What is your guilty pleasure as far as reading? Is it a genre, or is it a certain type of book?.

Mmm, well this is definitely not an easy question. I would have to say my guilty pleasure as far as reading would have to be anything dark and scary. I know I gravitate to the paranormal and fantasy when I read, but I really am a sucker for something that can really give me goosebumps and make me turn on every light in the house and check in the cupboards.

So, what about you? What is your guilty pleasure in reading? What can't you get enough of?

I do love those kinds of books as well. Actually my favorite is usually psychological thrillers, they always make my mind race to try and figure out what the hell is going on.

I love those books, so thrilling! But they make me so paranoid. I'll think I hear something and I'll be like:

"Was that a door? Is some monster going to kill me!?!? On no! Come here stuffed animals, save your loving master"

Then I curl up in my bed with the lights on and stare at the door. Ha, any monster tries anything and they get a hardcover right in the face!

The only book that ever had me that freaked out was The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. It was amazing, and I totally get what you mean. xD

I still can't get enough vampires and dystopian. I know, I know. They've been written to the brink of crazy, but I still love reading them to bits.

I'm the exact opposite, I only read those type of books on a very rare occasion, and only if I know my husband is around. I have a very overactive imagination, so those books make things so much worse. Thanks for visiting my FF.
