After such a hectic month of the A-Z challenge, and actually finishing (YAY), I learned there are so much more monsters out there than I could have thought. I even succeeded in not using the most common, no vampires, werewolves or zombies around here (although, some of the ones I did sneak in were actually described like that... but so much more cooler).
Thinking I was going to get a nice, well deserved break, I stumbled upon Alex Cavanaugh's Insecure Writers Support Group and thought, what they hey, this is something that I need to join.
At the present time, my insecurities revolve around time. I'm only four months into being a full-time teacher and I'm already as tired as anything. Sometimes I just don't know whether my time can be split any further. I'm already devising lesson plans for 7 classes, as well as trying to figure out how to control the students (or even if I can control the students), then I'm trying to read as much as possible, blog and keep up with social networking, participate in my critique group and write. I'm sure there's not enough hours in the day, especially when all I want to do when I come home is crawl up in bed.
I'm sure once I've been at the teaching thing longer I'll be able to get my schedule in order, but in the mean time I really don't want to 'not' have time for any writing, apart from the need to finish and perfect my novels, writing is also a means of escape for me and I'd think I'd go crazy if I didn't have that.
Well, that's my insecurities on a plate. What are some of your insecurities today?

Once you find your groove it will get better. It's tough with a full time job. Just not enough hours in the day!
Time. It can be so evil. (: It looks like you have a lot on your plate right now and you may have to prioritize until you're able to free up more time for yourself. Just don't spread yourself too thin or risk burning out.
Time will always be a problem -- there will always be something or someone(s) requiring your attention. Just know that it's a universal problem, and don't be hard on yourself. DON'T READ advice blogs -- or be discriminating if you do. It's OK if you need a break from writing now and then. SAY NO when you can to people who want more time than you want to give. If I took my own advice I wouldn't need a writer's support group.
I agree that there are not enough hours in a day to finish all you want to do. After the chores, work and reading, not enough time to crafting is my problem.
But I think, when you become a more experienced teacher, you will find more time. Till then wish you luck
Maybe once you fall into a routine it might become easier:)
I don't envy you, too much to do, too little time. But I think people are right, and it'll get easier over time. I'm sure lesson plans can be re-used, so once that's done,it's done. Don't worry. Writing will still be there when you have the time. :-)
Good luck with the time thing, I know that can be completely frustrating.
This seems to be a common theme for this month's IWSG! I am with you on how hard it is to find time. I say even if you are writing only a few paragraphs a week, that is still moving forward.

You'll get it down to a science sooner or later. Things will get better. Time management will be the key to writing and teaching. Good luck. Stop on by and say "hi" sometime.
I believe it'll get easier with time. Lol at the time ref. Seriously, unfortunately time doesn't stop or go back, so we must learn to work with the time we've got.
Up until last year, I worked full-time, raised two girls (youngest starting hs, woot!), home, hubby and wrote. Somehow it managed to all work out. I wrote on lunch breaks, everyday, even though they called me a "hermit" and a "nerd". Now that I look back, I think I managed my time better back then!!
Don't be so hard on yourself. It's only been four months. Things should look up as you get used to your new schedule.
Welcome to IWSG. :))
Oh, and my insecurities? My biggest which I posted on my blog this week is never completing a project. :)
And you still take the time to post reviews on our forum. Wow, you're a trooper! Sometimes you should just take a day off for yourself. Having a full time job is demanding! I do that once in a while, take a day off, and just relax and catch up on personal things. It helps a LOT!
