Wait a second... It's Free!!!

I can't believe it's almost the end of October already, just two days until the big day... yep, all the anxiety is building, and the pressure of getting everything perfect is just hitting me...

HOLY CRAP!!! It's nearly release day!!!

And I must be losing my mind, because I'm holding a special promotion to offer readers the chance to read my first novel, Shadow Embraced, before Shinigami Eyes is released.

What's it going to cost? Well, nothing... Then what's the catch? Actually... nothing. I'm just feeling in a generous mood.

That's right, head over to Amazon between now and 11/1 and you can get Shadow Embraced.

And for those who have already read Shadow Embraced, I can let you into a little secret... Scar's story will definitely be continuing, and that journey will be able to be read early next year (but sshhh, it's a secret).

Back to Shadow Embraced, if you want a chance to get Shadow Embraced at this bargain then head over to Amazon: http://amzn.to/1zf80Ai before the 1st November.

Busy, busy, busy

Can you believe it??? Where has January gone? It seems like only last week we were celebrating the new year, and now a month has passed. It hasn't been a quiet month either as I've been working hard on a couple of exciting projects, collaborating with the fantastic editors and designers at Dark World Books and another wonderful artist to bring out a novel that is quite special to me.

Okay, my life has been quite hectic lately. I've moved to a new place (although I'm not complaining as it's only a short drive to the beach, and numerous frozen yoghurt stores), started a new job, and am getting ready to start uni (again). Yep, a lot of things have been happening, but that doesn't mean the writing stops.

In January I officially completed the final draft of Shinigami Eyes and sent it away to get edited, and now I'm in the middle of planning art work and getting a cover design created. But that's not the only thing I've been up to, I've also been feverishly writing the sequel to Shadow Embraced and should have the first draft completed by mid-February if I can manage to keep to my time goals.

With everything that's been happening, I'm on a roll to get the numerous story ideas I've got rattling around in my brain out on the page (and I mean there are a lot of ideas up there).

Stay tuned for more information about Shinigami Eyes as there will be plenty coming your way shortly :D

So, what did you get up to in January? Did you accomplish any goals?

For a limited time: Shadow Embraced $0.99

As a celebration of the new life I've been exploring lately, as well as NanoWriMo coming up in just a few weeks (scary), I have decided to reduce the price of Shadow Embraced to $0.99. So, up until the start of Nano - which I see as a fitting time - Shadow Embraced will remain at this special price.

Shadow Embraced Release

Yay!!! A lot of work has gone into preparing Shadow Embraced for publication and I'm pleased to announce that today it is officially available :D

Get from Amazon (Paperback & Kindle)

No escape.

Those words haunt Scar's dreams. She thinks the creature that terrorises her while asleep isn't real, but when she's abducted and taken to a reform school meant to contain creatures too dangerous to function in society, she starts to wonder whether she isn't some monster.

She turns to an underground fight club full of vampires, werewolves and witches established by the students to control her urges, and who is she kidding, she loves to fight. When fighters begin to disappear, turning Scar into the prime suspect, she must race to prove her innocence before her true nature is exposed.

The only problem is that she's not entirely sure she's innocent.

As a release day promotion I'm giving away a coupon to get Shadow Embraced for free from Smashwords. So, what's the catch? No catch, except that the coupon is only available until Wednesday 1st May.

A big announcement

For those who  have been following me for a while now know that I have been working hard on my novel, Shadow Embraced. It's taken several years and a lot of hard work, but I am pleased to announce that Shadow Embraced is being published. For those that haven't heard about Shadow Embraced before, here is the blurb for the book:

No escape!

Those words haunt Scar's dreams. She thinks the creature that terrorises her while asleep isn't real, but when she's abducted and taken to a reform school meant to contain creatures too dangerous to function in society, she starts to wonder whether she isn't some monster.

When fighters begin to disappear, turning Scar into the prime suspect, she must race to prove her innocence before her true nature is exposed.

The only problem is that she's not entirely sure she's innocent.

Shadow Embraced is due out April 29th and the fantastic ladies over at Dark World Books are preparing a huge cover reveal (and believe me the cover is fantastic, thanks to the very talented Silvia Paoletta) which is happening on April 15th.

You can find the Shadow Embraced Goodreads page here
I have also set up an author page over at Facebook

Everything is moving and I'm so excited. I can't wait to show you all the cover.
